Gentle Tai Chi

Cancelled until next term beginning in September 2024.

These classes are suitable for those who wish to improve health at a leisurely pace. Students will learn basic Tai Chi exercises and some of the easier Tai Chi movements with an emphasis on correct posture, breathing, balance and relaxation. It also includes other practices such as self-massage techniques and Qigong practices. This course is particularly helpful for those who feel challenged by physical activity and want to find a less demanding form of exercise. It is also good for those recovering from illness or injury and can be a good foundation before moving on to the regular classes.

Eligibility: No previous experience or special requirements are required for this course. Suitable for any age group.
Duration : Each class lasts 1 hour, once a week
Venue : Brighton Wellness Centre, Mile Oak

10:30 am - 11:30 am

Tuition Fees :

 £5 per class payable in cash only at the beginning of each class attended.

Booking a class :

These classes are drop-in  and  pay-as-you-go. Therefore, booking is not required. However, you will need to REGISTER on our membership system called Coacha. You will need to complete our Sign Up form and choose a password.  There is a registration fee £10 which will be deducted from your first two classes. Alternatively, you can complete a paper Sign Up form at class instead.

Once you have been approved as a Student Member, you can log in to the Student Member Portal in Coacha, manage your account, view upcoming classes and book classes. For help on using the Member Portal, read more here.
