Although Qigong is one of the earliest forms of Chinese exercise, it is still widely practiced by people in all walks of life. The basis of this art is Qi, the life force existing in all living creatures and flowing continuously through our bodies. Gong means work and, therefore, through diligent exercise we can harness this vital energy, control it and use it for better health or as a component of martial arts. There is no limit to who can practice whether young or old, male or female and it does not require great physical strength. Systematic learning and practice means it can be studied with less time and less energy.
Eligibility: No special requirements. At least Free Membership is required. After completing one course, students will be eligible to repeat classes on a drop-in basis.
Duration : Each class lasts 1 hour, for 12 weeks.
