These classes are suitable for those who wish to improve health at a leisurely pace. Students will learn basic Tai Chi exercises and some of the easier Tai Chi movements with an emphasis on correct posture, breathing, balance and relaxation. It also includes other practices such as self-massage techniques and Qigong practices. This course is particularly helpful for those who feel challenged by physical activity and want to find a less demanding form of exercise. It is also good for those recovering from illness or injury and can be a good foundation before moving on to the regular classes.
Eligibility: No special requirements. Membership is optional.
Duration : Each class lasts 1 hour, once a week.
Venue : Brighton Wellness Centre, Mile Oak

This is a drop-in class only. Registration is FREE and you pay £5 per class in cash only at the beginning of each class.
