These classes are suitable for complete beginners and adapted for those who wish to learn at a slower pace. Emphasis will be on correct posture, breathing, balance and relaxation. Students will learn basic Tai Chi exercises and some of the easier Tai Chi Forms. This course is particularly helpful for those who feel challenged by physical activity and want to find a less demanding form of exercise. It is also good for those recovering from illness or injury and can be a good foundation before moving on to the regular classes.
Eligibility: No special requirements. Membership is optional.
Duration : Each class lasts 1 hour, once a week.
Venue : Brighton Wellness Centre, Mile Oak
