These classes are for students who have completed the Tai Chi for Beginners course. Students will learn the more advanced forms of Tai Chi and further exercises to improve flexibility and endurance.
Continuing I (Level P3)
These classes will include revision of exercises and forms learnt in the Beginners classes. Students also learn a special Taoist exercise called Leaning Against the Mountain. As students gain balance and strength they are able to start learning the more difficult Tai Chi forms from Embrace Tiger, Return to Mountain up to Turn and Kick with Heel.
Eligibility: Completion of Beginners I and II. For Premium members and above.
Continuing II (Level P4)
As before, exercises and forms already learnt will be revised and the final set of Tai Chi forms are added. These are from Brush Knee and Twist through to End Tai Chi and contain some of the most difficult Tai Chi forms.
Eligibility: Completion of Continuing I. For Premium members and above.
Duration : Each class lasts 1½ hours, for 12 weeks
